[EVENT] Rouge in Love Bloggers Party by Lancome

Party?

When one hears of the word 'party', we'll think of balloons, games, endless flow of good food and drinks, and don't forget the memorable goody bags we get after.

But when I first arrived at the event with it's so enticing title "Bloggers Party", I must say this event was my first to.. ermm... let's put it politely.. not up to par to my expectations. Putting that aside, a blogpost is due and here it goes.

Lancome is having a SALE at the Concourse Level of KLCC until the 23rd of May 2012. You could go there now to try all the new lipsticks as demonstrated below. There are 27 lipsticks color shades in the newly launched Lancome’s Rouge In Love Collection with Emma Watson as it's ambassador. These lipsticks are divided into groups of 9 in 3 mini collections, where each lipstick with its own name are suited for three different moments in the day -

1. Jolis Matins for mid-day, 
2. Boudoir Time for the afternoon and 
3. Tonight Is My Night

Models were demonstrating the new line of lipsticks in the market.

Each of the bloggers were given ribbons to tie around their wrists for reasons I have yet to know.

And the endless flow of foods and refreshments? Only the below was found and thankfully tasty.

Before the party was officially started, bloggers took their time at the make-up tables to try out the new lipsticks. As seen below, an attendee demonstrates one of the darker pink shades.

There were aplenty of make-up to try on own face.

Each make-up settee had a make-up artist to guide you on which colors suit you the best. She did some simple make-over on one of the attendees to demonstrate the new lipsticks.

I was fascinated by the shades of pink found on the new lipstick collection. The collection varies from different shades of NUDE colors to shades of bright red colors. It is sure a bold color on any woman that wants to show sophistication and sexiness in a cute way.

The new lipstick retails at RM75.00 per piece.

The party started with an introduction, Makeup demonstration by Lancôme’s National Makeup Artist, Zamri Zainol, a game, the best dressed-blogger award and last but not least, the goody bag hands out.

I'll post a review on the lipstick after this because honestly despite the lack of "party" essentials in this particular event, this lipstick is something every woman should crave for. =)
